Record-breaking Taichi exercise at AsiaWorld-Expo

Nearly 4,000 Lions Clubs International members from six continents gathered at AsiaWorld-Expo to perform Taichi to break the world record for the most continents represented in a single taichi session. 

Lions Clubs International is a global service organisation focused on medical aid, disaster relief, and more.  This year marks the third time its annual convention is being held in Hong Kong, and the Taichi event is one of the convention’s featured activities.

On the same day, the Lions Clubs also conducted vision screenings for about 100 primary school students at a local school. Since 2024, the programme has benefited about 12,000  primary school students in Hong Kong and Macao.
