Recitation of Paritt Suttas: MDY CM attended the concluding ceremony

The 137th Buddha Pujaniya Festival of the Maha Thakkya Marazein Kyauktawgyi Buddha Image was preceded by an 11-day recitation of Paritt Suttas from September 6 to 16, held daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The concluding ceremony was held at the Maha Thakkya Marazein Kyauktawgyi Buddha Image's audience hall in the morning on September 17.

First, attendees received the Five Precepts from the Chairman Sayadaw of the Aungmyay Thazan Township Sangha Nayaka Committee and the Presiding Sayadaw of Kahtein Taw Monastery in East Khinmakan Taik. They then listened reverently to the Paritta suttas.

Following this, the Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung offered offertories and cash donations to the presiding Sayadaw. After this, attendees listened reverently to the Dhamma sermon and shared the merits of all donations.

After that, the Chief Minister and officials, along with other donors, offered further offertories and cash donations to the presiding Sayadaw and the members of Sangha.
