Receiving Ambassador of China: VP U Nyo Saw received Ambassador of China

Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Nyo Saw received Ms. Ma Jia, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, Tuesday afternoon at the reception hall of the President’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they cordially and openly discussed strengthening the existing diplomatic relations and friendship between Myanmar and China, enhancing cooperation in trade and investment sectors including joint development projects between the two countries, maintaining peace and stability in border areas, implementing the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor, combating online gambling and online scams, and carrying out anti-drug trafficking and suppression efforts as a matter of national responsibility.

Also attending the meeting together with Vice President U Nyo Saw were Deputy Ministers U Khin Lat, U Naing Min Kyaw, and other responsible officials. The Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar was accompanied by relevant officials, it’s learnt.
