Reax after 11 babies killed in Senegal hospital fire

Parents whose newborn babies were killed in a fire in a neonatal unit of a hospital in Senegal have been speaking of their torment. The fire, which occurred late on Wednesday, killed 11 newborn babies.

Three others were saved. Officials say the fire was likely caused by an electrical short circuit at the Abdoul Aziz Sy Dabakh Hospital in Tivaouane.

An official investigation into the condition of the hospital's facilities as well as other health care centers has been announced, according to media in Senegal.
