Raids In Mandalay: Arms And Ammunition Seized On December 12

On December 12, in Mandalay, the PDF terrorist groups shot a nurse and her husband in Chanmyathazi Township, one ward administrator and one civilian in Pyigyitagun Township and a lay attendant of the monastery in Chanmyathazi Township. Security forces investigated to arrest the terrorist groups as quickly as possible.

Later the day, the police arrested one suspect who participated in the terrorist attack in Chanmyathazi Township and found conversation in his phone regarding plans to kill the informers and to conduct terrorist attack. According to the confession of the suspect, the police raided a house in Than Hlat Mhaw west Ward of Maha Aungmye Township.

During the raid, the PDF terrorists attacked the police and one security member got a gunshot wound. The raid left 7 terrorists dead and seized arms, ammunition and other related materials.

The police raided another house in Pyigyitagun Township and 1 PDF member attacked the police with a homemade bomb, ran away and was arrested dead. Action will be taken against the arrested PDF terrorists as per the procedures.
