





The eighteenth day of the second regular session of third Pyithu Hlattaw was held at Hluttaw meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday. Of the 351 representatives who are eligible to attend, 344 people were present.
During the question-answer session, Daw Khin Than Myint of Ngapudaw Constituency asked about the plan to upgrade the road connecting Labutta to Htaik Sun. U Win Myint of Oattwin Constituency asked upgrading of the gravel road into concrete facility within Wedaunt village tract. U Hla Swe of Ottarathiri Constituency on transforming the UMT Map into coordinate system for issuing farm land use rights certificate (7) in nine villages in Ottarathiri Township. U Myint Zaw Lin of Phyu Constituency asked about reconstruction plan of Kunchaung Dam. A total of eight questions were raised during the session.
The questions were answered by Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant and Deputy Ministers for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Ye Tint Tun and U Bo Bo Kyaw. Then, Dr. Htein Win of Kyaunggon Constituency submitted a proposal urging the Union Government to form National Population and Development Commission in order to draft strategic policies for effective management of the Myanmar Population and Housing Census' statistics.
The Hluttaw decided to discuss the proposal. The session was adjourned and will be continued on July 6.
