Pyidaungsu Hluttaw meeting : Pyidaungsu Hluttaw held its 5th day of 1st regular session

5th Day of the 1st Regular Session of 3rd Pyidaungsu Hluttaw meeting was held on 9th April. During the meeting, Pyidaungsu Hluttaw approved the appointment for U Aung Zaw Thein as the Chairman of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union along with members, and the list of the Union Ministers, submitted by the President-elect.

The appointments of Dr Thida Oo as the Attorney-General of the Union, Daw Naing Thet Oo as the Auditor-General of the Union, Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union, Dr Khin Naing Oo as Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar together with Deputy Governors, and U Soe Thein as the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission along with Commission members, were also approved by Pyidaungsu Hluttaw.

The Pyidaungsu Hluttaw also declared the approval of the formation of the Joint Bill Committee with 15 members and the formation of the Joint Public Accounts Committee with 15 members. The 6th day meeting of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw will take place on 10th April, it’s learnt.
