Putin wraps up China visit, leaves Beijing

Russian President Vladimir Putin left Beijing on Wednesday night, concluding his state visit to China.

During the visit, President Putin and President Xi Jinping held in-depth, friendly and fruitful talks, conducted strategic communication on a series of major issues, signed and issued the joint statement on further strengthening comprehensive strategic coordination and deepening good-neighborliness and friendly cooperation, and witnessed the conclusion of 20 cooperation documents in areas such as economy and trade, education, and science and technology. At the invitation of Xi, Putin paid a state visit to China from May 19 to 20. This was Putin’s 25th visit to China.
