Public Rental Housing: Project In Yangon 48 Percent Completed

10,000-room public rental housing project in underway in Dhakhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, Dagon Myothit (South) Township of Yangon Region and Patheingyi Township of Mandalay Region.

Phase 1 of the project in 171 acres of land plot in Dagon Myothit (South) Township of Yangon Region has now been 48 percent completed. The phase 1 by the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Federation and Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association includes 194 units of building for 3,104 rooms.

More buildings will be built for 3,184 rooms in the Township, it’s learnt. The project in Dhakhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area is for 704 rooms and the project in Patheingyi Township of Mandalay Region includes 3,008 rooms.
