Public Health: MOH Union Minister holds meeting on hospital improvement

Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win held a coordination meeting on Saturday, focusing on plans to improve cleanliness and facilities at public hospitals.

During his opening speech, the Union Minister said that the government is working to ensure doctors are assigned to hospitals nationwide, following the guidance of the Head of State. He emphasized maintaining hospital cleanliness, reliable water and electricity systems, and the proper use of government budget to upgrade public hospitals.

Deputy Minister Professor Dr. Aye Tun and departmental officials also urged effective supervision of emergency and outpatient services. State and Regional Directors presented their reports, and necessary coordination was made.
