Press secretary Jen Psaki says former President Barack Obama will return to the White House on Tuesday to highlight the Affordable Care Act. It will be the first time the former president has returned since he left office.Obama will join President Joe Biden in marking the 12th anniversary of the law. Its place in history has been secured by three Supreme Court decisions and the memorable thumbs-down vote by the late Sen. John McCain, which took the wind out of former President Donald Trump's repeal efforts. In addition to talking about health care, Biden and Obama were set to meet for lunch, recalling a weekly ritual when Biden served as Obama's vice president.Psaki also told that despite an apparent deal between Senate Democrats and Republicans on a $10B COVID package, the agreement falls short of the $22.5B White House was seeking.
