Provision Of Assistance: Cash, Foodstuffs And Medicines Provided To Fire Victims

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin visited KaiMaGyi Village in Minbu District to provide assistance to fire victims.

There, at the monastery’s community hall, the Chief Minister met with fire victims, held talks on rehabilitation programme and handed over the cash assistance of 300,000 Kyats each provided by the Magway Region Government to 72 households who lost their properties due to the fire on the 11th of March.

Also, the Disaster Management Department provided over 8.8 million Kyats to the fire vicitms who were also provided with basic foodstuffs, teaching aid, medicines and clothes.
