






Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin attended a ceremony to provide financial aid to displaced staff at the State Hall in Loikaw Township on Tuesday, together with other concerned officials, staff and their families and locals.
In his speech, the Chief Minister stated the third provision of financial aid from the National Disaster Management Fund for April to June to internally displaced staff, their families, and locals. He said the State Government is prioritizing security, stability, and support for returnees, including essential services, development of key sectors, and restoration of livelihoods, while urging cooperation to end terrorism and insurgency for region stability and balanced growth.
This was followed by the provision of financial aid to staff of the State General Administration Department, Education Office, Police Station and their families, as well as residents of Nant Baw Wan (B) and Law Dhamma wards, departmental staff, and wards and village representatives. A local gave words of thanks on behalf of the attendees, in return.
The Chief Minister then warmly greeted the staff and locals while giving words of encouragement. He also heard reports on difficulties and requirements of locals and coordinated the needs.
During the ceremony, more than 880 million kyats of financial aid from the National Disaster Management Fund was provided for April to June to 14,069 people, including 2,474 staff, 3,592 family members and 8,003 citizens from 76 departments.
