Providing Assistance: Providing Assistance For IDPs Resettled In Their Village

The Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htain Nan and officials met and encouraged the IDPs from Lon Shar Yan Village and sheltered in Ar Lan Village-tract U-Byit Village in Myitkyina Township and provided rice, foodstuffs and cash assistance in the afternoon on April 10.

At the meeting with the IDPs, the chief minister said that the IDPs have been transporting to their own village, arranged to resettle at their village safely and peacefully, the children to be enrolled when the schools open and carry out to receive national scrutiny card.

Then, the chief minister, chief justice and minister provided rice, foodstuff and cash assistance, inquired the requirements of the local people and tended to give vaccines to the IDPs families.
The Kachin State Government arranged for the IDPs to resettle at their own village for two times including on 30th March and on 9 April and provided them with rice, foodstuff and cash assistances, it’ reported.
