Promo video on 19th Asian Games released

The 19th Asian Games is scheduled to open on Sept. 23 and close on Oct. 8 in Hangzhou, China and five other cities that co-host the games. The Hangzhou Asian Games will feature 40 sports, 61 disciplines, and 483 events in 54 competition venues. It marks the third occasion China will host the Olympic Council of Asia's signature event, following Beijing in 1990 and Guangzhou in 2010.

The theme song "The Love We Share" was released 30 days before the opening ceremony.  As highlighted in a press conference marking the 30-day countdown to the Games, all 45 national and regional Olympic Committees across Asia have registered for the Games, with a total of 12,417 athletes having signed up. All sports equipment and facilities at various venues in Hangzhou have been tested and ready for use in the games.
