Products Exhibition and Trade Fair: Supporting for MSMEs development in Magway Region

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises MSMEs of Magway Region products exhibition trade fair was held in Magway started from 31st October to 2nd November.

The local products were displayed and sold in exhibition trade fair included food, variety of fabrics and agricultural equipment products. 

Thet Hsu Htay, Jumjel Myanmar, said " It has been 2 or 3 years since the exhibition trade was held like this. We got business network for entrepreneurs like us in past exhibitions. So, I am very happy to do the products exhibition trade again. It would be better if the exhibition could be held all over the country instead of regionally." 

Also the regional government is working to handle the balance of MSMEs businesses in Magway Region. 

Zaw Thun Aung, Director, Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection, said " The regional government of Magway is working to promote the all MSMEs businesses in balanced manner. We make plans to help as much as we can. If MSMEs businesses of regional level improve, the country’s GDP will increase and can support to the country."

There are over 1900 micro, over 700 small and over 200 medium enterprises which have license in Magway Region.
