A product fair and market promotion event for various bamboo handicraft products was held at the Kumudra Grand Ballroom, Hotel Max, Nay Pyi Taw, on January 27. The event was part of a project titled "Demonstration of Community-Based Small-Scale Businesses for Non-Timber Forest Products." Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Min Thu, attended and delivered the opening address.

It also absorbs large amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and effectively prevents soil erosion. He noted that this event is not only a new step for the development of the bamboo handicraft industry but also a way to support both sustainable economic growth and environmental conservation simultaneously.

Following the opening speech, bamboo handicraft entrepreneurs and departmental experts engaged in group discussions. The Director General of the Forest Department delivered the closing remarks, and the ceremony concluded.
