Princess Visit: Japanese Delegation Arrives In Yangon

At the invitation of the State Counsellor, a delegation led by Princess Yoko Mikasa who is a member of the Japanese Imperial Family arrived in Yangon on Wednesday evening.

A delegation led by Princess Yoko Mikasa was welcomed at the Yangon International Airport by officials from the Strategic Studies and Training Department and the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar and officials.

In the evening, Princess Yuko Mikasa and party paid homage to Shwedagon Pagoda. Princess Yuko Mikasa also offered flowers, water, lights and incense to the pagoda and visited around there.
