Press Release: The appointment of Saudi Arabia Ambassador agreed

The Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar has agreed to the proposed appointment of Mr. Maziad Mohammed Maziad Alhowishan as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Mr. Maziad Mohammed Maziad Alhowishan was born on 21 January 1980. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2002 and a Master’s Degree in International Law from Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt in 2024.

Mr. Maziad Mohammed Maziad Alhowishan served as an Attaché at General Administration for Asian Countries in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2004 to 2005. From 2005 to 2007, he was assigned as Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. From 2010 to 2012, he served as First Secretary at the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Syrian Arab Republic. Since 2021, he has been serving as Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab Republic of Egypt. Mr. Maziad Mohammed Maziad Alhowishan is married with three children.
