




The ceremony to present appointment letters assigning newly graduated nurses as civil servants was held Monday afternoon by the Ministry of Health via virtual system at the Ministry of Health's meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw.
At the ceremony, the Union Minister for Health, Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, delivered an address. The Chairperson of the Myanmar Nurse and Midwife Council, Daw Nwet Nwet Khin, urged the graduating new nurses and midwives to continuously study and improve their nursing care skills, and to provide care in accordance with nursing care standards to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
Afterwards, the Union Minister presented appointment letters, assigning them as civil servants, to representative new graduate nurses from the Nursing Sciences (Nay Pyi Taw), the Midwifery Training School (Nay Pyi Taw), the Nursing Sciences (Mandalay), and the Nursing Training School (Meiktila), on behalf of 1,452 new graduate nurses. A newly graduated nurse then expressed words of thanks on behalf of the new graduate nurses, it’s reported.
