Preparations Underway: VSG addresses meeting to organize 76th Union Day

Chairman of the Central Committee on Organizing the 76th Union Day Ceremony Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win addressed the Committee’s 1st coordination meeting.

In this meeting on Tuesday at the Office of the Chairman of the State Administration Council, the Vice Senior General said that regarding the 76th Union Day in 2023, 5 national objectives have been issued and the ceremony will be held in accordance with the objectives.

The essence of the Union Day includes carrying the flag of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to states and regions and stopping overnight.

He also highlighted the importance of adherence to the COVID-19 prevention guidelines and security measures.

The meeting continued with reports on matters including management, security, finance, information, entertainment, transport, communications, healthcare, invitation, audit and dinner as well as with general discussions. The Vice Senior General coordinated the reports and discussions. And, he urged the attendees to carry out their responsibilities in order for the ceremony to be successful at the national level.
