Preparations Underway: Meeting for 74th Anniversary of Independence Day

Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win addressed the 3rd meeting of the Central Committee for Organizing the 74th Anniversary of Independence Day 2022.

In his address at the Office of SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday afternoon, the Vice-Senior General said this meeting was to focus on the latest accomplishment of the assignments and remaining tasks and needs to fulfill the requirements.

The Vice-Senior General gave supplementary instructions over the reports presented by officials from the respective subcommittees. The Vice-Senior General urged all to cooperate with each other in marking the ceremony at the national level as it would be the first ceremony in 2022.

As a gesture of hailing the New Year, all the people themselves need to foster the spirit of valuing independence and sovereignty and sharpening the strong and dynamic spirit of safeguarding the sovereignty, he added.
