













The Organizing Committee for the 10th Anniversary of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) held a coordination meeting on Thursday to discuss upcoming celebration plans.
The 10th anniversary of the NCA, signed in 2015, will be held on October 15, 2025, in Nay Pyi Taw. The event will feature a commemorative ceremony and a peace forum, bringing together signatories, political stakeholders, local and international experts to discuss progress and lessons learned over the past decade.
Committee Chair Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Vice Chair Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, and Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naing attended the meeting along with deputy ministers and directors-general from various ministries. Discussions included organizing subcommittees and assigning tasks, displaying development efforts in ethnic areas, highlighting youth involvement in peace and promoting public understanding of the NCA’s significance.
The event’s theme will be “From NCA to Lasting Peace: Shaping the Future”, focusing on continuing efforts for a peaceful and prosperous Myanmar.
