Preparations For Thingyan: 25 Dance Troupes To Participate In Water Festival In Bago

Plans are underway to celebrate crowdedly 2022 MaharThingyan water festival in Bago than previous years. 25 traditional dance troupes from wards and villages will participate in the water festival and 3 Yein dance troupes from 3 departmental offices will perform with entertainments at the festival.

In addition, the participating dance troupes will be awarded and Walking Thingyan will be added for the people to splash water peacefully. During Thingyan festival, the departmental groups will serve Myanmar traditional snacks and charity feast from the eve-day (Akyo Day) to the final day (Atet Day) of Thingyan festival.
