Preparation Measures: Plans for Diamond Jubilee Union Day Celebration

Mon State Government held a coordination meeting for successful holding of 75th anniversary Union Day on January 2nd. Chief Minister U Zaw Lin Tun discussed to preserve and safeguard the national characteristics by respecting the traditions and customs of national people.

Mon State Government plans to display the traditional customs of Mon nationals, literature, famous landmarks and local products. Moreover, the decorative floats and cultural troupes will also participate in the Diamond Jubilee Celebration the Union Day.
