





Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Htein Lin in his capacity as Chairman of the Reception and Hospitality Sub-Committee for the 79th Union Day celebrations, on Sunday inspected preparations for hosting cultural groups from regions and states.
The Deputy Minister viewed the guesthouses, hostels, dining halls, kitchens, food storage areas, and venues for the welcome ceremony at the Nay Pyi Taw Sipin guesthouse. He also reviewed renovation works, accommodation arrangements, food service plans, water and electricity supply, and overall readiness.
The Deputy Minister instructed to ensure timely completion of repairs, sufficient water supply, smooth electricity use, while paying attention to reception and hospitality arrangements.
He later visited the City Hall, where he inspected preparations for the welcome ceremony, and urged all sub-committees to coordinate closely to ensure the successful hosting of ethnic cultural groups for the Union Day event.
