

With the aim of national unity, the Pre-Christmas fun fairs of the staff families of the ministry of ethnic affairs was held at the ministry on 21st December and union minister U Saw Tun Aung Myint, deputy minister U Zaw Aye Maung and officials joined the event.
In his the Pre-Christmas greeting, the union minister focused on the loving-kindness to each other, unity and peace and prayed for the peace of the world and the peace of the country from northernmost of Khakaborazi to the southernmost of cape of Kaukthaung.
The deputy minister U Zaw Aye Maung stressed the need to adhere to the teachings of the respective religions and pursue the four virtues of loving-kindness, compassion, empathetic joy and equanimity and wished for the good health, growth of wealth and prosperity of the staff families.
Then, the staff families sung the Christmas songs, songs of national races and performed the dances and the union minister and deputy minister handed over cash presents.
