Indian Grandmaster Praggnanandhaa made history on Friday, by becoming the first Indian player to win the Grand Chess Tour title. He staged a remarkable comeback in St. Louis of the United States, defeating defending champion Fabiano Caruana 15–13. Achieving $200,000 as a prize, he also earned a guaranteed spot in the next season of the Grand Chess Tour.
