Power Plants Inspection: Union Minister Inspects Hydropower Plants And Power Plants

Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Aung Than Oo on Sunday inspected Yeywa Hydropower Plant. During the inspection, the Union Minister heard reports on work process and water storage.

After hearing the reports, the Union Minister gave necessary instructions and inspected control room, turbine halls, electricity distribution system and water storage.  

The Union Minister continued his inspection trip to 230 KV Shwe Sar Yan Sub-power Plant and 230 KV Aung Pin Lal Sub-power Plant in Patheingyi Township, and, heard reports on electricity distribution and maintenance.

He called for efforts not to have power outage, to decrease power outage time if maintenance process is conducted, and to inform the public in advance in case of power outage. The Union Minister also inspected control room and switch yard.
