Poetry Sector: Union Minister Donates ‘How To Compose Poem’ Book

Donation ceremony of the copies of the book titled ‘How to Compose Poem’ written by Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko was held on Thursday.

In the ceremony at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture in Nay Pyi Taw, the donor Union Minister U Ko Ko stressed that teaching the way how to compose poem is the basic way to conserve Myanmar poems or classic poems. Meanwhile, poem writing and reading contests are essential. 

The Union Minister added that he published the book ‘How to Compose Poem’ to help the Myanmar youths know how to compose, love and value the poem.  After his speech, the Union Minister donated 200 copies of the book to Ministry of Education, 50 to Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, 200 to Ministry of Information and 50 to Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.
