PM Modi departs for Sweden

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has departed for Sweden on Sunday on the 3rd leg of his five-nation visit on 17th May, marking an important milestone in the steadily deepening India–Sweden partnership.

The visit comes at a time when both countries are looking to expand cooperation across key areas including innovation, green technology, defence, and emerging digital industries. This will be Modi’s second visit to Sweden after his earlier trip in 2018, reflecting the growing continuity and momentum in bilateral relations.
