PM attended the Hiroshima Memorial Ceremony

On 6th August, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida laid a wreath for victims of the atomic bombing marking the 78th anniversary of the atomic bombing at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima.

On that occasion, Hiroshima Mayor Kazumi Matsui and Japanese Prime Minister delivered speeches.  About 50,000 Japanese people, representatives from more than 100 countries and some international agencies took part this year's ceremony.

Japanese Prime Minister said Japan is committed to pursuing a world without nuclear weapons, despite the challenges posed by the security environment. Now, the average age of atomic bomb survivors is over 85 years old.
