Pilgrims pray for Pope Francis as he marks one week in hospital

Pilgrims visiting Rome for the Jubilee prayed for Pope Francis as he marked one week in the Gemelli hospital. Admitted last Friday with bronchitis, which later developed into pneumonia, his condition raised widespread concern. Many expressed their affection for the Pope, acknowledging his unwavering dedication to the Church and praising his self-sacrificial commitment.

Marco Stegner, Parish Priest said "This year is a merciful year and it's one of the most important things in this year that we are here in Rome. Also we pray for Papa Francisco, for his health and we hope that he will be better early."

Although unwell, the Pope’s impact endured, with many showing their affection and respect.
