Philippines deports 2 Japanese robbery suspects

The Philippines deported two of four Japanese men suspected of planning and coordinating a string of robberies across Japan back to their home country on Tuesday morning.

Kiyoto Imamura and Toshiya Fujita were escorted by heavily armed men as they boarded a Japan Airlines aircraft. Philippine Justice Secretary said the fugitives were charged with robbery, fraud and theft in their home country. They were repatriated after Philippine courts cleared them of any charges.
