Performing Arts Competition : Higher Education Level competition commenced in Mon State

The 26th Mon State Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Higher Education Level) commenced on Sunday at Mawlamyine University.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein and officials. The Chief Minister encouraged students to not only excel academically but also thrive in traditional arts of singing, dancing, song composing, and playing musical instruments, and to aim for success at the national level.

Participants from Mawlamyine University, Nursing and Midwifery Training Schools, and the Education Degree College competed in individual male and female categories. The Chief Minister enjoyed the competitions, and encouraged the students during the event.
