



The State Peace Talks Team held peace talk with the delegation led by Vice Chairman of the New Mon State Party (NMSP) on Wednesday at the National Reconciliation and Peace Center in Nay Pyi Taw.
The meeting was attended by member of the State Administration Council (SAC) Union Minister at the Government Office Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) and the Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Secretary of the NSPNC Lt-Gen Min Naung, Vice Chairman of the NMSP Nai Aung Min, Joint General Secretary of the NMSP Nai Win Hla and Central Executive Committee member of the NMSP Nai Banyar Lei.
This meeting began with speeches by the State Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and Vice Chairman of the NMSP Nai Aung Min. And, the two sides exchanged views on Table 1 list of union legislation and table 2 list of regional or state legislation in the 2008 Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar which were not discussed during the 2nd round of peace talks and examination of whether the agreements in parts (1), (2) and (3) of the Union Accord are consistent with the 2008 Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and existing laws. The 2nd day peace talk is set to be held on November 10.
