Paying Courtesy Call: MOFA UM paid courtesy call to Pakistan PM

The Myanmar delegation, led by Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif, at the Prime Minister's Office at 10:00 a.m. on 27 January 2026, during the official visit to Pakistan, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

At the meeting, both sides discussed enhancing Myanmar-Pakistan relations, expanding multi-sectoral cooperation, and promoting collaboration in mutually beneficial areas such as economy, trade, agriculture and livestock, energy, tourism, and culture. They also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the two countries at regional and international levels, including within ASEAN.
