Paxlovid Now Available at Shanghai’s Community Hospitals

The anti-COVID-19 drug Paxlovid is now available at community-based medical institutions in Shanghai.

In order to further improve the treatment capacity of community hospitals, Huangpu District in downtown Shanghai has allocated Pfizer anti-COVID-19 drug Paxlovid tablets to the community health service center over the last few days.

The center has received the first batch of drugs. According to the diagnosis of the family doctor, the elderly over 65 years old infected with COVID-19 within five days will be the main takers, and those with severe liver and kidney dysfunction cannot take it.
