Parliamentary Affairs: Meeting with students and entrepreneurs

Pyithu Hlattaw Speaker U Khin Yi met with the delegation, comprising over 400 faculties and students from Naypyitaw State Academy at Hluttaw Assembly Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

In his welcoming address, the Speaker stated that the primary responsibility of the hluttaw is legislation, and stressed that efforts are being made in accordance with the law to ensure that the nation's citizens can live peacefully under the protection of the law and to promote national development.

He also gave a detailed explanation of parliamentary affairs and matters relating to the population census. He urged all to work together for the future development of the country and the young generation as a whole.

Subsequently, the students asked questions about the role of the Pyithu Hluttaw, its legislative process, and matters related to the education sector. The Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker responded to their questions. On separate occasion, Pyithu Hlattaw Speaker U Khin Yi received the study group from Myanmar Mobile Phone Entrepreneurs Association at the Hluttaw Assembly Hall.
