Paper Mill Inspection: Union Minister inspects Thabaung high grade paper mill

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than made inspections in Ayeyawaddy Region. The Union Minister inspected the Thabaung high grade paper mill in Thabaung Township and heard report on history of the factory, factory information and financial matters.

In his response, the Union Minister said that industries must work together with the business sector and must be managed in an orderly manner; it’s necessary to learn the international paper production methods and conduct training and measures must be taken to improve the performance of individual employees and workshops/plants.

Also, the Union Minister made inspection of the mill. Later the day, the Union Minister also heard reports by officials from 11 mills operating under the management of the Thabaung high grade paper mill and made coordination.
