Palace Invites Ex-Presidents, VPs at 78TH Independence Day

Indonesia will celebrate its 78th Independence Day Aug. 17.  

The State Palace will invite former presidents and vice presidents of Indonesia, to attend the ceremony of the 78th Independence Day of Indonesia and will also invite the ambassadors of neighboring countries, Deputy of Protocol, Press, and Media of Presidential Secretariat said on Sunday.

The main ceremony will occur at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta. Local and regional government offices will also host ceremonies in provincial and regency capitals.
