Pakistan train blast kills at least 24 in Balochistan

Pakistani officials said that at least 24 people were killed and over 50 others injured after an explosive-laden vehicle struck a passenger train carrying military personnel and their families.

The Sunday blast occurred in the country’s southwestern province of Balochistan, and was claimed by the separatist Baloch Liberation Army militant group. Later, Pakistani military immediately cordoned off the site, while provincial hospitals declared medical emergencies.
