Oral and Dental Health: Mobile medical team conducts treatment

Organized by Myanmar Dental Department, the mobile dental and oral treatments were conducted at Wizira Nada Dhamma Center in OttaraThiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on Sunday.

Dr. MyinMyintHlaing, 1000-beded NPT General Hospital, said " Although this is the first time of dental treatment in this monastery and we are conducting moble free dental healthcare services on the holidays at the opportune times. Oral and dental health is very important and so that the people; adults to child should brush the teeth at least twice a day."

Dr Tin Tin Lay (Retired), said "I have conducted dental care services together with mobile medical team. I am very satisfied to give helping hands to others. Some people have difficulties to receive treatment because of being far from the clinics and hospitals. Due to the mobile healthcare services, we can give education and also treatment."

Shin WailuRiya, Wizira Nada Thu Baw DhaYone Monastery, said " We have learned about how to care the teeth. On behalf of all novices, we expressed thanks for dental care services to medical team."

38 dentists from the Dental Department of 1000-beded Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital and volunteers conducted dental care services. The mobile oral and dental healthcare services are conducted every weekend.
