Opening of Vocational Training: Bago Region CM delivered the opening speech

An opening ceremony for a vocational training course on consumer goods production technology was held at the Nawin Police Recreation Hall of the Pyay District Police Chief’s Office in Pyay Township on September 21. The course aims to create job opportunities for families. Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended and delivered the opening speech.

In his opening speech, the Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win explained the objectives of opening the training course and the subjects to be taught. He expressed his hope that the families attending the course would apply the skills they acquire to increase their income and strive to become successful small-scale producers.

Following this, the Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win presented training materials for the course and cash assistance to the trainees and instructors. He warmly greeted the participants and toured the products and equipment that will be used in the training.

Later, the Chief Minister and his wife attended the 44th Rice Offering Ceremony organized by the Pyay Taung Tan Tawya Monasteries Rice Donation Association at the Punyakaraṇa Four-Storey Dhamma Hall of the historic Shwe Hsan Daw Pagoda in Pyay. The Chief Minister and the accompanying guests offered rice, oil, beans, salt, and monetary donations to the monks, nuns, and sayalays (Buddhist nuns).

It is reported that the Chief Minister also inspected the construction of a moving escalator on the southern passage of the historic Shwe Hsan Daw Pagoda. He instructed the responsible officials to ensure workplace safety and to complete the project on time and in compliance with standards.
