Opening Ceremony: Dried tea leaves and fruits factory opened

The opening ceremony of dried tea leaves and fruits factory was held at Naungtaya Town, Shan State (South) on April 9 with the attendance of the Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Commander In Chief of Defense Service Vice Senior General Soe Win.

First, the local people at the factory warmly welcomed the Vice Chairman and party. Next, the Shan State Chief Minister Dr Kyaw Tun, Chairman of Myanma Economic Corporation Lt. Gen. Nyo Saw, Commander of East Command Ma-j Gen. Ni Lin Aung, Chairman of Pa-O Self-Administered Zone U Khun Ye Htwe opened the dried tea leave and fruits factory (Naungtaya) by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.

Next, the Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Commander In Chief of Defense Service vice Senior General Soe Win unveiled the factory signboard by pressing the auto button. Next, the Vice Chairman and party launched the operation of factory by putting the green tea leaves into the Bukon table.

Afterward, the SAC Vice Chairman and attendees posed for documentary group photo in front of the factory’s entrance. Then, SAC Vice Chairman and party viewed the production process of dried tea leave in the factory. Next, the Vice Senior General Soe Win handed over cash of honour to the factory employees.

Afterward, the documentary video clip on the dried tea leave and fruits factory (Naungtaya) was screen at the briefing hall of the factory. Next, the Managing Director of MEC U Kyaw Lin clarified the facts regarding with the factory. Afterward, the Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Commander In Chief of Defense Service vice Senior General Soe delivered an opening speech. 

Next, a local resident expressed words of thank for creating job opportunities for the local people regarding the establishment of factory. Then, MEC Chairman Lt. Gen. Nyo Saw presented the commemorative badge to the Vice Senior General Soe Win. Later, the SAC Vice Chairman gave the fruits basket to the foreigners who contributed in the construction process of dried tea leave and fruits factory (Naungtaya) and the opening ceremony was concluded.
