Opening Ceremony : 17th Senior Executive Training Program opened

The opening ceremony of the 17th Senior Executive Training was held at the Nawarat Hall of the Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar) on September 15. Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board U Soe Min Oo attended the ceremony and delivered the opening address.

In his opening address, the UCSB Chairman stated that the role of senior executives who lead the implementation of government policies is extremely important. He emphasized that the training is opened with the aim of enabling participants to perform their sectoral and hierarchical duties skillfully and correctly, prioritizing the interests of the state and its citizens, and fostering a civil service organization that operates with accountability and responsibility, capable of coordinating effectively. He urged the attendees to enhance their leadership and management qualities, provide efficient and swift services in accordance with existing laws, rules, regulations, and procedures, and to integrate modern, innovative ideas and creative capabilities to perform their departmental duties in the best possible manner.

A total of 27 trainees included19 male and 8 female will attend this training program. The training period will last from September 15, to November 12.

Following the ceremony, the UCSB Chairman, accompanied by Academy’s officials, inspected the ongoing training sessions for various courses, the Academy's workshop facilities, the 25-bed Academy hospital, and the housing for police personnel. Subsequently, he met with Academy’s officials in the main administrative meeting hall and provided guidance on the Academy's administrative and training presentations.
