An online recruitment program for college graduates sponsored by the country's major media outlet has so far provided more than 210,000 jobs over the past 20 days. The program is sponsored by Yangshipin, a video service of China Media Group (CMG), and the State Development and Investment Corporation (SDIC) in cooperation with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.
The program aims to help both enterprises and job seekers amid the COVID-19 outbreak since mid-December so as to promote work resumption. Since its launch on March 2, the platform has organized more than 30 promotion meetings and live streaming activities. Many large state-owned and private companies, museums, and government institutions took an active part in the activities to attract aspiring students. By March 23. the job fair webpage registered more than 18.56 million clicks and received more than 750,000 resumes from applicants.
