Online e-Visa Service: Resumption Of Business Visa Service On 1st April

Online e-Visa service of the Ministry of Immigration and Population will resume with effect from 1st April 2022 for business visa applications in accordance with the COVID-19 rules and regulations of the Ministry of Health.

To expedite the implementation of Myanmar’s e-government digitization and to support the development of Myanmar’s tourism industry, the Ministry of Immigration and Population launched the e-Visa Website on 1st September 2014.

Tourist e-Visas and Business e-Visas have been issued electronically. Tourist e-Visas has been allowed to 100 countries and online e-visa service to 55 countries and the services were temporarily suspended on 20th March 2020 because of COVID-19.

The international flight service will be resumed at the Yangon international airport starting 17th April as the COVID-19 infection has gradually declined. Out of temporary suspended online e-visa, business visa can be applied starting 1st April and there are 54 applicants till now, according to e-Visa Website.
