One dead as Spanish music festival hit by winds

One person was killed and several more injured at an outdoor music festival in eastern Spain on Friday night into Saturday morning when part of a temporary concert stage collapsed due to strong winds, according to Spanish authorities.
Emergency services in the Valencia region said that the incident occurred around 4:00 A.M. (02:00 GMT) when a "strong gust of wind" knocked off parts of the stage structure at the Medusa Festival.
They said that in addition to one fatality, another 40 people needed to be taken to hospital. Organizers of the festival said they had ordered the concert grounds to be cleared when the winds began to blow strongly.
