Oil Industry: Senior General Inspects Palm Oil Plantation

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Friday inspected a South Dagon palm oil plantation in Bokpyin Township.

There, he heard report on the plantation situation, plans for expansion, number of employees, transport to processing plant in Yangon, production of palm oil-based cooking oil and soaps and regional development works.

In his response, the Senior General stressed land use issues, important role of Tanintharyi Region for oil production and quality oil production, and called for efforts for more production. The Senior General also provided foods for the employees and inspected the palm oil plant.
